Dish Scrubber: Union Fiber

The first one I received was defective and cracked, but I was gratefully sent a new one and it is working out great. Although I like my tawashi brush, I like this one too because it is smaller and I alternate between the two. The only downsides are that sometimes a bristle or two can come off with more aggressive scrubbing and the union fibre bristles have a bit of a strong smell at first until it mostly mellows out after use.

Design of this brush is very simple and fits in your had well. I find with the design and shape it doesn't slip out of my hand when I'm using it. It bristles are SUPER tough so wouldn't be the easiest for like wine glasses or narrow mouthed items but for stuck on food on plates, step out of the way. Love it

It scrubs great but just barely being in the splash zone of our sink for a month, with light use, the handle has cracked from the bristle edge upward from opposite sides. The bristles still work, but I doubt the handle would hold up with heavy or even normal use and getting wet on a more regular basis.
